My name is Plamen Krushkov and I have been
involved in the IT field for nearly two decades now. I began my career at the
age of 13, working part-time as computer operator at an internet café. The
operational day-to-day tasks with end users helped me to develop strong
problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, stable work ethic and built the
foundation of my IT knowledge and experience.
In time, I have come to realize that open-source solutions are those closest to my own interests and mindset, which led me to begin exploring Linux at a very early stage. After studying, using and working with it for almost 10 years now, Linux has become my preferred OS and I feel it is the most comfortable and suitable platform for my skills and abilities.
After graduating High School, I achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the Canterbury University of England. I have also completed a Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking training course and obtained a certificate from Cybrary.it.
In the meantime, I had also already begun my academic career in the IT field by attending a specialized high-school program with strong focus on Information Technology, Informatics, Mathematics and English. While working on my high school diploma, I also took on various freelance projects such as website creation and maintenance, and building and maintaining computer configuration.
Do not hesitate to contact me for any further information, project pitches or job offers, I am always open to new challenges and exciting learning opportunities.
