My name is Plamen Krushkov and I have been involved in the IT field for nearly two decades now. I began my career at the age of 13, working part-time as computer operator at an internet café. The operational day-to-day tasks with end users helped me to develop strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, stable work ethic and built the foundation of my IT knowledge and experience.
In the meantime, I had also already begun my academic career in the IT field by attending a specialized high-school program with strong focus on Information Technology, Informatics, Mathematics and English. While working on my high school diploma, I also took on various freelance projects such as website creation and maintenance, and building and maintaining computer configuration.
In time, I have come to realize that open-source solutions are those closest to my own interests and mindset, which led me to begin exploring Linux at a very early stage. After studying, using and working with it for almost 10 years now, Linux has become my preferred OS and I feel it is the most comfortable and suitable platform for my skills and abilities.
After graduating High School, I achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the Canterbury University of England. I have also completed a Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking training course and obtained a certificate from Cybrary.it.
Do not hesitate to contact me for any further information, project pitches or job offers, I am always open to new challenges and exciting learning opportunities.
